Broker Complaints: Triad Advisors, Inc. (CRD# 25803)

Triad Advisors, Inc. also created and maintained inaccurate books and records from June 2008 to June 2010. Of the $650,000 fine, $375,000 of it was restitution to Triad Advisors, Inc. customers.

·         On March 22, 2007 Triad Advisors, Inc. was fined $10,000 for failing to report corporate bond trades in a timely manner. Additionally, Triad Advisors, Inc. failed to establish and maintain a supervisory system to ensure Triad Advisors, Inc. brokers complied with FINRA/NASD Rules of federal securities laws.

·         On August 2, 2002, Triad Advisors, Inc. was fined $5,000 for operating branches without registration. This specific complaint stemmed from Triad Advisors, Inc.’s Florida branch office.

·         On July 16, 2009, current Triad Advisors, Inc. broker, Elliot Harris, was terminated from his former firm, Morgan Stanley, when he submitted a telephone log that contained false information regarding client trades. Elliot Harris has been employed as a broker at Triad Advisors, Inc. since July 2009, immediately following his termination at Morgan Stanley.

The abovementioned complaints and FINRA violations barely scratch the surface of Triad Advisors, Inc.’s checkered history.
