In 2008 the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) sanctioned Lance J. Ziesemer following allegations he made unauthorized settlement arrangements with two customers “in an attempt to prevent them from filing a complaint.” Mr. Ziesemer was fined $5,000 and suspended from associating with any FINRA member for twenty business days.
 
In 2007 a customer alleged Lance J. Ziesemer, while employed at Olde Discount Corporation, made unauthorized and unsuitable trades, and inappropriately used margin. The customer sought more than $100,000 in damages in the complaint, which was denied.
