In 2015 a customer alleged Christos Kalatoudis, while employed at John Thomas Financial, breached his fiduciary duty, breached contract, and acted negligently. The customer is seeking $130,000 in damages in the pending complaint.

In 2014 the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) reported a tax lien totaling $287,786 against Christos Kalatoudis. The lien remains outstanding.

In 2009 a customer alleged Christos Kalatoudis, while employed at John Thomas Financial, executed two unauthorized trades involving exchange-traded funds. The customer sought more than $17,000 in damages in the complaint, which was closed.

In 2006 a customer alleged Christos Kalatoudis, while employed at Joseph Gunnar & Company, provided poor performance. The complaint settled for $8,000.
