Martin Stevens (Stifel Nicolaus) Customer Complaints

According to his BrokerCheck report, Martin Stevens is the subject of five denied customer complaints.

  • In 2015 a customer alleged Martin Stevens, while employed at Stifel Nicolaus & Company, advised the investment of rollover funds into one stock. The customer sought $47,819 in damages.
  • In 2004 a customer alleged Martin Stevens, while employed at Stifel Nicolaus & Company, provided low quality recommendations that resulted in losses. The customer sought $30,000 in damages.
  • In 2002 a customer alleged Martin Stevens, while employed at Stifel Nicolaus & Company, recommended unsuitable investments. The customer sought more than $13,400 in damages.
  • In 2002 a customer alleged Martin Stevens, while employed at Stifel Nicolaus & Company, recommended unsuitable investments that caused significant losses. The customer sought more than $11,200 in damages.
  • In 1998 a customer alleged Martin Stevens, while employed at Stifel Nicolaus & Company, recommended an unsuitable investment that caused the portfolio to decline in value. The customer sought more than $13,300 in damages.
