Previous registrations include AXA Advisors in Pittsford, New York (2011-2014); CCO Investment Services in Rochester, New York (2009-2011); AXA Advisors in Rochester, New York (1999-2009); and the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States in New York, New York (1999-2000). Mr. Puccio is currently not registered with any firm or state.
According to his BrokerCheck report, Francesco Puccio is the subject of one regulatory sanction, one pending criminal charge, and one denied customer complaint. He was additionally discharged from his position at Cambridge Investment Research.
In August 2015 FINRA sanctioned Francesco Puccio following allegations he failed to provide requested documents in connection with an investigation into allegations that he converted funds from a non-firm customer. Mr. Puccio was permanently barred from the securities industry.
In 2015 two criminal charges were filed against Francesco Puccio in the Wheatland Town Court in Monroe County, New York. The charges include one count of fourth degree conspiracy and one count of second degree grand larceny. Mr. Puccio has pleaded not guilty to both charges, which remain pending.
In 2015 a customer filed a complaint against Francesco Puccio requesting an investigation into “two unauthorized loans taken against two variable life insurance policies” which she purchased in 2012. The customer sought unspecified damages in the complaint, which was denied.
In July 2015 Francesco Puccio was terminated from Cambridge Investment Research following allegations he “engaged in criminal activity regarding the wrongful taking of property.”
In April 2014 the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) filed a tax lien of $124,754 against Francesco Puccio.
