Albany Based Broker, Frederick Monroe, Permanently Suspended by FINRA

iStock_000007448womanAccording to records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), former New York-based Voya broker Frederick Monroe has been permanently barred from acting as a broker. The securities and investment fraud law firm Fitapelli Kurta is interested in speaking to investors who have complaints regarding Mr. Monroe (CRD# 2457010).

Frederick Monroe has spent twenty years in the securities industry and was most recently registered with Voya Financial Advisors in Albany, New York (2006-2015). Previous registrations include Northwestern Mutual Investment Services in Latham, New York (1994-2006) and Robert W. Baird & Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1994-2002). He is currently not registered with any state or firm.

According to his BrokerCheck report, Frederick Monroe is the subject of one regulatory sanction, six customer complaints, two pending complaints, and one regulatory investigation. He was additionally discharged from his position at Voya Financial Advisors.

  • In 2015 FINRA sanctioned Frederick Monroe following allegations he failed to respond to a request for information. Mr. Monroe was issued a permanent suspension from association with any FINRA member in any capacity.
