Broker Bahram Mirhashemi Faces Pending Complaint

Bahram MirhashemiAccording to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), former California-based Accelerated Capital broker Bahram Mirhashemi is currently not licensed to act as a broker or an investment adviser. The securities and investment fraud law firm Fitapelli Kurta is investigating allegations of misconduct against Mr. Mirhashemi (CRD# 2937037).

Bahram Mirhashemi has spent eighteen years in the securities industry and was most recently registered with Accelerated Capital Group in Irvine, California (2012-2016). Previous registrations include Ameriprise Financial Services in Artesia, California (2010-2012); Wells Fargo Investments in Pico Rivera, California (2005-2010); WM Financial Services in Irvine, California (1998-2005); National Securities in Seattle, Washington (1998); and Waldron & Company, which has since been expelled by FINRA, in Irvine, California (1997-1998). He is currently not registered with any state or firm.

According to his BrokerCheck report, Bahram Mirhashemi is the subject of one customer complaint and one pending customer complaint, and was discharged from his position at Ameriprise Financial Services.

  • In 2015 a customer alleged Bahram Mirhashemi, while employed at Accelerated Capital Group, committed trading violations April 2014 and December 2014. The customer is seeking unspecified damages, believed to exceed $5,000, in the pending complaint.
  • In December 2014 the Franchise Tax Board of the State of California filed a tax lien totaling $21,375.86 against Bahram Mirhashemi. The lien remains outstanding.
  • In November 2014 the Franchise Tax Board of the State of California filed a tax lien totaling $24,691.84 against Bahram Mirhashemi. The lien remains outstanding.
  • In 2013 a customer alleged Mirhashemi, while employed at Ameriprise Financial Services, caused poor performance between January 2012 and July 2012. The complaint settled for more than $135,400.
  • In 2013 the Franchise Tax Board of the State of California filed a tax lien totaling $59,674.36 against Bahram Mirhashemi. The lien remains outstanding.
  • In 2012 Bahram Mirhashemi was discharged from his position at Ameriprise Financial Services following allegations he violated company policies regarding suitability of fixed income strategies, U4 updates, and discretion.
  • In 2011 the Internal Revenue Service filed a tax lien totaling $60,140 against Bahram Mirhashemi. The lien remains outstanding.
