Theodore Allocca (New York Broker) Faces Complaint

Theodore Allocca has spent 31 years in the securities industry and has been registered with Trident Partners in Woodbury, New York since 2001. Previous registrations include Glenn Michael Financial in Melville, New York (1998-2001); Comprehensive Capital Corporation in Great Neck, New York (1994-1998); Investors Associates in Hackensack, New Jersey (1990-1994); and GK Scott & Company in Plainview, New York (1984-1990). Two of his former employers, Glenn Michael Financial and Investors Associates, have since been expelled by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He is a registered broker with twenty-one US states and territories, including California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

According to his BrokerCheck report, Theodore Allocca is the subject of one customer complaint and one pending customer complaint.

In September 2015 a customer alleged Theodore Allocca, while employed at Trident Partners, gave poor performance and recommended unsuitable investments. The customer is seeking $400,000 in damages in the pending complaint.

In 1999 a customer alleged Theodore Allocca, while employed at Comprehensive Capital Corporation, misrepresented material facts related to an investment and breached his fiduciary duty. The complaint settled in 2001 for $350,000, to which Mr. Allocca individually contributed $10,000.
