Frank Marinelli Has Churning Complaint

Frank Marinelli has spent 16 years in the securities industry and has been registered with Southeast Investments in Brooklyn, New York since 2011. Previous registrations include JP Turner & Company in New York, New York (2001-2011); Benson York Group, which has since been expelled by FINRA, in Melville, New York (2000-2001); Carnegie Investor Services in New York, New York (1999); GSG Securities in Boca Raton, Florida (1999); and HD Brous & Company in Great Neck, New York (1999). He is a registered broker with 18 US states and territories.

According to his BrokerCheck report, Frank Marinelli is the subject of two customer complaints and two pending customer complaints.

In November 2015 a customer alleged Frank Marinelli, while employed at JP Turner & Company and Southeast Investments, breached his fiduciary duty, made unsuitable investment recommendations, committed fraud, breached contract, acted negligently, and violated the Idaho Uniform Securities Act. The customer is seeking $300,000 in damages in the pending complaint.

In 2014 a customer alleged Frank Marinelli, while employed at JP Turner & Company, made unsuitable recommendations, breached contract, breached his fiduciary duty, committed fraud, acted negligently, misrepresented material facts, and violated the Arizona Securities Act.

In 2012 a customer alleged Frank Marinelli, while employed at JP Turner & Company, made unsuitable investment recommendations, breached his fiduciary duty, engaged in high pressure sales tactics, acted negligently, mismanaged the account, churned the account, and executed unauthorized trades. The complaint settled in 2013 for $102,500, to which Mr. Marinelli individually contributed $102,500.

In 2008 a customer alleged Frank Marinelli, while employed at JP Turner & Company, committed fraud, breached contract, breached his fiduciary duty, and acted negligently. The complaint settled for $50,000, to which Mr. Marinelli individually contributed $40,000.
