Broker James Carpenter Faces Pending Complaint

James CarpenterFormer Oregon-based Sagepoint Financial broker James Carpenter is currently not licensed to act as a broker or an investment adviser.   • In 2011 the Internal Revenue Service filed a tax lien totaling $70,889 against James Carpenter. The lien remains outstanding.
  • In 2010 the Internal Revenue Service filed a tax lien totaling $46,271 against Carpenter. The lien remains outstanding.
  • In 2010 the Internal Revenue Service filed a tax lien totaling $46,271.23 against James Carpenter. The lien remains outstanding.
  • In 2003 a customer alleged Carpenter, while employed at InterSecurities, failed to deliver a policy and provided poor service. The complaint settled in 2004 for $38,994.
