Geraldine Gordon has spent 21 years in the securities industry and has been registered with Ameriprise Financial Services in Lexington, Kentucky since 1994. She was previously registered with IDS Life Insurance Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota (1994-2006). In 2013 a customer alleged Geraldine Gordon, while employed at Ameriprise Financial Services, recommended investments that performed poorly. The customer sought $500,000 in damages in the complaint, which was denied.

In 2003 a customer alleged Geraldine Gordon, while employed at American Express Financial Advisors, misrepresented material facts, failed to discuss fees and commissions, recommended unsuitable investments, and purchased insurance projects without their knowledge. The complaint settled in 2004 for $19,500.
