Complaint Against Gregory Shields

Gregory ShieldsPublic records published by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on April 25, 2016 indicate that Indiana-based Commonwealth Financial Network broker/adviser Gregory Shields is the subject of a customer complaint. In 2012, a customer alleged that Gregory Shields, while employed at VSR Financial Services, committed fraud, breached his fiduciary duty, and acted negligently. The complaint settled in 2012 for $20,000.

In 2008, a customer alleged that Gregory Shields, while employed at VSR Financial Services, misrepresented material facts related to an investment. The customer sought $288,600 in damages in the complaint, which was denied.
