Jason Oleet Received Regulatory sanction

Jason OleetPublicly available records published by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on September 30, 2016 indicate that New York-based Ecoban Securities Corporation broker Jason Oleet has received regulatory sanctions and a customer complaint. The securities and investment fraud law firm Fitapelli Kurta is investigating allegations of misconduct against Mr. Oleet (CRD# 4644826).

Jason Oleet has spent nine years in the securities industry and has been registered with Ecoban Securities Corporation in New York, New York since August 2016. Previous registrations include Middlebury Securities in Burlington, Vermont (2012-2016); Oleet Securities, which has since been expelled by FINRA, in Burlington, Vermont (2008-2012); and Indigo Securities in Weybridge, Vermont (2003-2004). He is a registered broker in New York.

According to his BrokerCheck report, Jason Oleet has received two regulatory sanctions and one customer complaint.

In 2014 the State of Vermont sanctioned Jason Oleet in response to a FINRA matter. He was placed on unspecified terms, conditions and undertakings in the state.

In 2013 FINRA sanctioned Jason Oleet following allegations he failed to amend his Form U4 to disclose litigation alleging sales practice violations within 30 days of his knowledge of the complaint. He was issued a one-month suspension and a fine of $5,000.

In 2011 a customer alleged Jason Oleet, while employed at Oleet Securities, breached contract, acted in bad faith, breached his fiduciary duty, misrepresented material facts, and committed fraud. The complaint settled in 2012 for $60,000.
