Amadou Bah Has Received a FINRA Sanction

Amadou BahPublicly available records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on March 2, 2018 indicate that former New York-based Maxim Group broker Amadou Bah, also known as Andrew Bah, has been sanctioned by FINRA in connection to alleged rule violations and barred from acting as a broker or otherwise associating with a broker-dealer firm. Andrew Bah has spent three years in the securities industry and was most recently registered with Maxim Group in New York, New York (2013-2016). Previous registrations include Garden State Securities in Hackensack, New Jersey (2013); EJ Sterling in New York, New York (2013); and Meyers Associates in New York, New York (2013). He has passed two securities industry examinations: Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination), which he obtained on April 12, 2013, and Series 7 (General Securities Representative Examination), which he obtained on March 12, 2013. He is currently not registered with any state or firm.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he has received one FINRA sanction and one pending customer complaint.

In November 2017 a customer alleged Andrew Bah, while employed at Maxim Group, made excessive trades, churned investments, committed fraud, and executed unauthorized transactions from January 2015 through November 2015. The customer is seeking $200,000 in damages in the pending complaint.

In January 2017 FINRA sanctioned him in connection to allegations he failed to respond to a FINRA request for information. He was subsequently barred from acting as a broker or otherwise associating with a broker-dealer firm.
