Customer Alleged Jonathan Melges Over-Concentrated Investments in the Account

Jonathan MelgesPublicly available records published by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on March 20, 2018 indicate that Michigan-based Raymond James & Associates broker/adviser Jonathan Melges has received a pending customer dispute. In February 2018 a customer alleged Jonathan Melges, while employed at Raymond James & Associates, made unsuitable investment recommendations, over-concentrated investments in the account, violated Michigan securities law, breached contract, committed promissory estoppel, and violated the Michigan Consumer Protection Act. The customer is seeking $500,000 in damages in the pending complaint.
