Customer Alleged Christopher Bice Did Not Disclose Commissions Prior to the Investments Being Made

Christopher Bice Public records published by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on March 21, 2018 indicate that North Carolina-based Sagepoint Financial broker/adviser Christopher Bice has received a customer dispute. He is a registered broker and investment adviser with 22 US states and territories: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he has received one customer complaint and two customer complaints that were closed or denied.

In February 2018 a customer alleged Christopher Bice, while employed at Sagepoint Financial, did not disclose commissions prior to the investments being made. The customer sought $125,000 in damages in the complaint, which was denied.

In 2016 a customer alleged Christopher Bice, while employed at Sagepoint Financial, recommended an unsuitable real estate investment. The complaint settled in January 2017 for $10,000.

In 2014 a customer alleged Christopher Bice, while employed at Sagepoint Financial, recommended unsuitable investments. The customer sought unspecified damages in the complaint, which was closed with no action taken.

In 2002 he was terminated from his position at UBS Painewebber in connection to allegations he directed an employee to sign clients’ names to a new account form.
