Wilfredo Felix Was Recently Named in a FINRA Investigation

Public records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on April 12, 2018 indicate that New York-based Primex broker Wilfredo Felix has received resolved or pending customer disputes and was recently named in a FINRA investigation into alleged rule violations. He is a registered broker and investment adviser with 42 US states and territories.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he has received one customer complaint and one pending customer complaint, and he was recently named in a FINRA investigation.

In October 2017 a customer alleged Wilfredo Felix, while employed at Primex, made unsuitable stock trades in 2012 that resulted in losses. The customer is seeking $103,024 in damages in the pending complaint.

In 2016 he was named respondent in a FINRA investigation into alleged violations of FINRA rules including those regarding untimely responses, email retention, registration, and record-keeping. The investigation remains pending.

In 2007 a customer alleged Wilfredo Felix, while employed at Primex, recommended unsuitable investments, acted negligently, and misrepresented material facts related to investments in unspecified securities. The complaint resulted in an award to the customer of $17,130.
