Laura Hanson Has Reached Settlement with Multiple Customer Disputes

According to her BrokerCheck report, she has received four customer complaints.

In February 2017 a customer alleged Laura Hanson, while employed at Merrill Lynch, misrepresented and omitted material facts related to an investment and executed excessive trades. The complaint settled in July 2017 for more than $32,600.

In 2009 a customer alleged Laura Hanson, while employed at UBS Financial Services, misrepresented material facts related to auction rate securities. The complaint settled for $150,000.

In 2008 a customer alleged Laura Hanson, while employed at UBS Financial Services, recommended an investment in auction rate securities prior to the industry-wide breakdown of liquidity in the market for auction rate securities. The complaint settled with the firm’s repurchase of the securities at par value, for $425,000.

In 1994 a customer alleged she, while employed at UBS Financial Services, executed unauthorized transactions. The complaint settled for more than $12,500.
