John Eads Terminated From Lion Street Financial

John EadsPublic records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on June 8, 2018 indicate that Florida-based Lion Street Financial broker John Eads, who has received customer disputes, was recently discharged from his former employer in connection to alleged rule violations and is currently not affiliated with any broker-dealer firm. John Eads has spent 20 years in the securities industry and was most recently registered with Lion Street Financial in Titusville, Florida (2017-2018). Previous registrations include AXA Advisors in Titusville, Florida (2009-2017) and Woodbury Financial Services in Titusville, Florida (1997-2009). He has passed two securities industry examinations: Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination), which he obtained on August 12, 1998, and Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination), which he obtained on July 21, 1997. He is currently not registered with any state or firm.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he has received three customer complaints and was recently discharged from his former employer.

In February 2018 he was discharged from his position at Lion Street Financial following allegations he submitted client documents without their legal signatures.

In 2016 a customer alleged John Eads, while employed at AXA Advisors, recommended an unsuitable variable annuity product. The complaint settled for more than $85,800.

In 2013 a customer alleged John Eads, while employed at Woodbury Financial Services, misrepresented and sold unsuitable investments. The complaint settled in 2015 for $100,000.

In 2006 a customer alleged John Eads, while employed at Woodbury Financial Services, had a loan paid off, causing a taxable event. The complaint settled in 2007 for $7,072.
