Broker Anthony Delfre Faces Pending Complaint

Anthony DelfreOhio-based Brown Gibbons Lang & Company broker Anthony Delfre is the subject of a pending customer complaint. The securities and investment fraud law firm Fitapelli Kurta is investigating allegations of misconduct against Mr. Delfre (CRD# 2194365).

Anthony Delfre has spent sixteen years in the securities industry and has been registered with Brown Gibbons Lang & Company in Cleveland, Ohio since March 2016. Previous registrations include Potomac Securities in McLean, Virginia (2010); Prim Securities in Independence, Ohio (1998-2007); Prudential Securities in New York, New York (1996-1998); and Merrill Lynch in New York, New York (1991-1996). He is a registered broker in Ohio.

According to his BrokerCheck report, Anthony Delfre is the subject of one pending customer complaint and one dismissed customer complaint, and resigned from his position at Prudential Securities Incorporated.

In March 2015 a customer alleged Anthony Delfre, while employed at Prim Securities, engaged in acts of solicitation. The customer is not seeking a financial recovery in the pending complaint.

In 2012 a customer filed a complaint against Anthony Delfre detailing various allegations involving an investment in Teton Air Range, of which all the funds were not returned. The FINRA complaint was dismissed, though concurrent civil litigation settled for $210,000, to which Mr. Delfre individually contributed $50,000.

In 1998 Anthony Delfre was “permitted to resign” from his position at Prudential Securities Incorporated following allegations he made an unauthorized payment to a non-employee.
