In 2013 a customer alleged Christian Stoltz, while employed at Lincoln Financial Securities, recommended an unsuitable life insurance policy, misrepresented material facts, and “never adequately explained the risks and costs” associated with the policy. The customer additionally alleged that Mr. Stoltz breached his fiduciary duty, committed common law fraud, breached contract, acted negligently, and violated the Pennsylvania Securities Act. The complaint settled in 2014 for $196,000.
