In August 2018 FINRA sanctioned Jason Beem in connection to allegations he failed to comply with an arbitration award or settlement agreement, or to satisfactorily respond to a FINRA request for information regarding such. He was issued an indefinite suspension that began on August 15th and will continue “until required payment is made or discharged.”
In 2013 a customer alleged Jason Beem, while employed at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, moved funds between accounts without authorization and concentrated funds in four positions. The customer sought $1,000,000 in damages in the complaint, which was denied.
