In January 2015, James Wright was terminated from his position at Raymond James Financial Services following allegations he failed to adhere to a heightened supervision plan, failed to properly manage staff, and failed to timely submit advisory paperwork.

In 2014, James Wright was terminated from his position at Ameriprise Financial Services following allegations of “company policy violations including excessive equity concentration limits, late financial planning deliverables, and hiring and maintaining staff.”

In 2004, a customer alleged James Wright, while employed at American Express Financial Advisors, provided advice that resulted in a loss. The customer sought $30,000 in damages in the complaint, which was denied.

In 2003, a customer alleged James Wright, while employed at American Express Financial Advisors, did not advise him of the tax consequences of a redemption, causing tax, interest and penalties. The customer sought $46,537 in damages in the complaint, which was denied.

In 2001, a customer alleged James Wright, while employed at American Express Financial Advisors, delayed a fund transfer, resulting in a loss. The complaint settled for more than $5,300.
