Publicly available records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on December 6, 2017 indicate that Louisiana-based Capital Financial Services broker/adviser Justin Mitchell was discharged from a former employer in connection to alleged rule violations and has been named in a pending FINRA investigation. He is registered as a broker and investment adviser in Louisiana.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he was discharged from a former employer in connection to alleged rule violations and has been named in a pending regulatory investigation.

In October 2017 he was named in a FINRA investigation into allegations he participated in an outside business activity. The investigation remains pending. For reference, FINRA Rule 3270 states: “No registered person may be an employee, independent contractor, sole proprietor, officer, director or partner of another person, or be compensated, or have the reasonable expectation of compensation, from any other person as a result of any business activity outside the scope of the relationship with his or her member firm, unless he or she has provided prior written notice to the member, in such form as specified by the member.”

In May 2017 he was terminated from his position at LPL Financial following allegations he violated firm policy regarding outside business activities.
