She was previously registered with Ameriprise Financial Services in Minneapolis, Minnesota (2005). She is currently not registered with any state or firm.
According to her BrokerCheck report, Li-Lin Hsu has received two regulatory sanctions and two pending customer complaints, and was discharged from her position at Ameriprise Financial Services.
In February 2016, FINRA sanctioned Li-Lin Hsu following allegations she failed to respond to a FINRA request for information. She was permanently barred from acting as a broker or otherwise associating with firms that sell securities to the public.
In October 2015, a party of customers alleged Li-Lin Hsu, while employed at Ameriprise Financial Services, misrepresented and recommended the OOPS J&I International franchise that they were forced to close while filing for bankruptcy. The claimants additionally allege Ms. Hsu executed an unauthorized transfer to an unknown third party, and took a loan of $200,000 to buy land. The claimants are seeking more than $1,198,000 in damages in the pending complaint.
In September 2015, a customer alleged Li-Lin Hsu, while employed at Ameriprise Financial Services, misappropriated funds. The customer is seeking $805,370 in damages in the pending complaint.
In August 2015, FINRA sanctioned Li-Lin Hsu following allegations she did not respond to a request for information. She was suspended from associating with any FINRA member firm in any capacity; the suspension was lifted in December 2015.
In March 2015, Li-Lin Hsu was discharged from her position at Ameriprise Financial Services following allegations she violated firm policy “related to maintaining a beneficiary relationship with a client, complaint handling, commingling funds, and conducting business with a former client.”
