Mark Raezer: Investor Complaints Regarding Madyson Capital Management

Mark RaezerPublicly available records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on June 27, 2018 indicate that former Colorado-based Taylor Capital Management broker Mark Raezer, who was recently sanctioned by state authorities in connection to alleged rule violations, has received a pending customer dispute and is currently not affiliated with any broker-dealer firm. Mark Raezer has spent two years in the securities industry and was most recently registered with Taylor Capital Management in Aurora, Colorado (2015-2018). He has no previous registrations. He has passed one securities industry examination: Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination), which he obtained on February 9, 2015. He is currently not registered with any state or firm.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he has received one regulatory sanction and one pending customer complaint, and he recently resigned from his former employer in connection to alleged rule violations.

In February 2018 a customer alleged Mark Raezer, while employed at TCM Securities, breached his fiduciary duty, committed fraud, misrepresented material facts, acted negligently, and violated Colorado securities laws in connection to the sale of Madyson Capital Management LLC Limited Partnership units, which he alleged misrepresented as “low-risk, guaranteed, safe and profitable.” As news reports from November 2017 state, Madyson Capital Management’s owner was charged by state regulatory authorities with using investors’ funds for his own personal benefits, including purchasing residences, luxury vehicles and jewelry. The customer is seeking $426,052 in damages in the pending complaint.

In January 2018 the Colorado Division of Securities sanctioned him following allegations he sold investments away from his member firm. He was issued a 60-day suspension.

In January 2018 he was “permitted to resign” from his position at TCM Securities after the Colorado Division of Securities informed the firm it “was prepared to file charges against Raezer for selling away” without informing the firm of his intent.
