In March 2018 he was terminated from his position at Edward Jones in connection to allegations he made securities transactions without speaking to the client on the day the trades were made or that he made securities transactions without speaking to an authorized party.
In 2017 FINRA sanctioned him following allegations he made discretionary transactions without obtaining prior written authorization from the client or the firm’s written approval of the account as discretionary. He was issued a 15-day suspension and a fine of $5,000.
In 2015 a customer alleged Mark Saunders, while employed at Edward Jones, made unauthorized transactions involving mutual fund products and common and preferred stock. The complaint settled for more than $34,000.
