According to his BrokerCheck report, he has received two customer complaints and one pending customer complaint.

In January 2017 a customer alleged Matthew Jacob, while employed at MML Investors Services, “executed trades without his approval and without regard to the [his] financial well being, which provided benefit to the rep.” The customer is seeking unspecified damages in the pending complaint.

In 2008 a customer alleged Matthew Jacob, while employed at Cadaret Grant & Company, recommended unsuitable investments. The complaint settled for $90,000.

In 2004 a customer alleged Matthew Jacob, while employed at Cadaret Grant & Company, unsuitably allocated assets. The complaint settled for $5,000.
