Michael Jump Terminated from Firm

Michael JumpPublic records published by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on July 6, 2016 indicate that former Florida-based Mutual Trust Company of America Securities broker Michael Jump is currently not licensed to act as a broker or an investment adviser. In January 2016, Michael Jump was terminated from his position at Investment Planners following allegations he “used discretion in client’s accounts without permission in performing unauthorized mutual fund transactions.”

In August 2015, FINRA sanctioned Michael Jump following allegations he “negligently misrepresented information pertaining to fees associated with replaced variable annuities… on forms submitted to his member firm” and made unsuitable recommendations. He was issued a 2-month suspension as well as penalties and disgorgement exceeding $18,000.
