Peyton Jackson Was Named Respondent in a FINRA Complaint

Peyton JacksonPublic records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on April 21, 2017 indicate that former New York-based Alexander Capital broker Peyton Jackson has been named in a FINRA complaint and is currently not affiliated with any broker-dealer firm. Previous registrations include Legend Securities in New York, New York; Dawson James Securities in Baltimore, Maryland; McKim Capital in Alexandria, Virginia; and Morgan Stanley DW in Purchase, New York. He is currently not registered with any state or firm.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he has received five customer complaints, eight pending customer complaints, one regulatory sanction, and one pending regulatory complaint.

In April 2017 he was named respondent in a FINRA complaint alleging he “failed to provide questionnaires, documents, and on-the-record testimony requested by FINRA as a part of its investigation into his potential misconduct” involving “allegations by several former customers of Jackson’s that filed Statements of Claim against him and his former member firms, alleging, among other charges, unsuitable sales, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract.” The complaint remains pending.

In October 2016 a customer alleged Peyton Jackson, while employed at Alexander Capital, breached his fiduciary duty and committed fraud. The customer is seeking more than $580,100 in damages in the pending complaint.

In May 2016 a customer alleged Peyton Jackson, while employed at Alexander Capital, Dawson James Securities, Legend Securities and McKim Capital, made unsuitable recommendations, misrepresented and omitted material facts, and churned investments. The customer is seeking $90,000 in damages in the pending complaint.

In 2002 a customer alleged Peyton Jackson, while employed at Morgan Stanley, provided unsuitable investment advice. The complaint settled for $150,000.
