In May 2017 he was terminated from his position at Ameriprise Financial Services “for use of an unsuitable trading strategy and repeat violations of firm policy.”

In 2012 a customer alleged Randyl Taber, while employed Wells Fargo Advisors, told her she would never lose money and did not inform her of surrender fees. The customer sought unspecified damages in the complaint, which was denied.

In 2008 a customer alleged Randyl Taylor, while employed at AG Edwards & Sons, executed unauthorized speculative transactions. The customer sought more than $63,800 in damages in the complaint, which was closed.
