In January 2019 FINRA sanctioned him in connection to allegations he failed to respond to a request for information. He was suspended “until required information is provided to FINRA or the suspension converts to a bar.”
In July 2018 a customer alleged Jason Nye, while employed at the ON Equity Sales Company, sold “grossly unsuitable investments” with no consideration for their “personal circumstances.” The customer is seeking at least $5,000 in damages in the pending complaint.
In 2018 the Ohio Division of Securities sanctioned him in connection to allegations he hid from his member firm a loan he took from one of his clients. He was issued an order revoking his registration.
In 2004 a customer alleged Jason Nye, while employed at UBS Financial Services, participated in unauthorized trading. The complaint settled for $2,000.
